How to stay healthy

healthy diet
People go on diets with the sole purpose of losing the extra pounds they have put on over the years. Many are successful in their quest but around half end up either putting it all back on or gaining even more. This can have health consequences such as doubling the risk of death through heart disease
.more

So what is the best way to lose weight and keep it there? Here is my guide:
v  Avoid processed foods - anything processed, not in its natural form avoid or minimize its consumption.
v  Shun Oily Foods, any food that is made by frying or has an excessive amount of oil.
v  Stay away all  whites such as white bread, white rice, white flour etc.
v  Dodge Sugars including artificial sugars.
v  Completely avoid all that is mentioned above for one month.
v  Assuming you are not diabetic or have other major health issues where certain foods could affect your health.
v  I also assume you have no acute genetic issue
v  Replace the white rice and bread with brown or red rice and wholegrain brown bread. Replace the butter or margarine with a plant based product etc and avoid any product that has sugar in it.

The result?  you should lose weight at the rate of 1-2 lbs per week without doing any exercise. Exercise and you will probably lose more. So what does this tell us? It tells us that our foods are so full of chemicals that our body cannot handle it anymore and as a result we get a weakened immune system and fall ill easily.

Losing weight can be a difficult challenge, no matter what your age.  There are so many temptations around, so many opportunities to boost your calorie count.  Also, you might try to follow one diet, only to find that it is difficult to sustain.  As a result, the low-calorie diet may be the best method around for consistent weight loss.  While you might not be able to lose weight quickly, you can shed pounds eventually.  By being patient and committed to your weight loss program, you can ultimately lose the weight you need to.
